Though I have dabbled in drawing and painting during various periods of my life, occasionally taking classes in different mediums, I really only began painting after retirement, and especially during the early COVID lockdowns. In that time, I discovered a real passion for acrylic painting -- especially depictions of African wildlife. My wildlife studies are all based on reference photos taken either by me or by my husband during our extensive travels throughout eastern and southern Africa over a period of two decades, from 1987 to 2009.
