JoAnne Castelli Castor is a Rutgers University alumna and a native of Philadelphia. She is a full-time artist and works on portraits and other commissions in her studio in Glendora, NJ. She has painted murals in churches, residences, and commercial sites. Her portrait clients are children, young adults and professionals. Her work is collected both in the United States and abroad.
She is a member of the Portrait Society of America and is a volunteer for the Arts 4 Teens Festival and Literary Programs of Camden County Heritage Commission.

they are icons of world conflicts & represent a society struggling to move
" toward consensus and peace and away from aggression and war"
These large-scale works can be described as realistic yet abstract graphic compositions that use the female figure as an element of the landscape.
