Living in the Denver area, I was born in Grand Rapids, and I completed a double major at Grand Valley State University, pursuing careers in both art and dance. Having been blessed with two artistic talents, I often base both areas of my work heavy on emotional connections between viewers and the subjects. Influenced by Baroque artists and Victorian Narratives I enjoy creating stories throughout my work that must be pieced together though symbolism, light, color, and people or lack there of.
