I have been dabbling in all forms of artwork since I was a child. Now that my own kids are older, I am finally persueing my art "career" and working on getting enough projects done to have a showing in a gallery, store, shop, winery - whoever will have me!!!
This particular piece is very unique. It is ink on a wood "canvas" with genuine gemstones set in the wood. There is a light behind it so the gemstones shine while it is hanging on the wall. This incorporates my love for jewelry, gemstones and my creativity in my artwork. The best of both worlds!

This is 10"x10" wood panel with ink drawings. then it has carved gemstones inlaid into the wood. I then set lights behind it so that the gemstones light up from behind. Its beautiful!!!

This is an 8"x8" wood panel with colorful geometric shapes. In 4 of the shapes, I set gemstones. A round Rhodalite Garnet, an emerald cut Amethyst, a large round Rutilated Quartz and a square lazer cut prasiolite (green quartz). Then I set lights in the back of the panel so that the gemstones shine from behind. Beautiful!!!
