Maria, an abstract expressionist artist, was born in Venezuela. Art has always been in her life, art is an integral part of her life.  She has traveled extensively and expresses: "I see and hear art everywhere." Inspired by nature, her mixed media paintings are diverse pieces of art that involve imagination, texture, movement, and three dimensional objects, other times her work expresses simplicity.
