Stained Glass with 30 Hidden Keys
Painting
I started "hiding" objects in my paintings when I accidentally noticed some repeated random shapes and decided to intentionally paint them in. This is my fifth painting with hidden items. I find that when the viewer has something to look for, they become more engaged in the painting often pausing to look for the objects. For this painting, I started with a pencil outline on a board then created "glass" segments with a Micron pen, filled in each section with acrylic paint using a dotting tool, then finished with some dotted details.
