Ashley Howell is a classically trained realist painter working in Lexington, Kentucky. She works mainly from life in the academic style. She is currently interested in the relationship between fashion and nature and works with fabric, the Kentucky landscape, locally sourced goods and Lexington residents as models to create the majority of her work.
