Jennifer Oehme

I'm a self-taught artist who was born and raised in Germany and moved with her husband to the US in 2008. 
I started painting and drawing during my teenage years mostly to battle anxiety issues. After years of a creative drought, I began creating again just 3-4 years ago. I mainly do abstracts and am a very passionate person, that tries to bring colorful and unexpected things onto the canvas. I totally paint from the heart and if I'm not in a good mood, nothing good will come out of it. Art is a big part of my life and if I don't paint on canvas, I also do collages or smaller watercolor paintings on paper.
