My photographic journey began in the mid-1970s with a Nikkormat FT2 camera. For many years my Nikons and I were inseparable! Circumstances in my life changed and, for too long a period, I rarely touched my cameras. In the fall of 2005, with the purchase of my first "real" digital camera, the love affair began again.
There have been many photographers whose work I have admired, but my favorites have been Gordon Parks, Pete Turner, Jay Maisel and Ernst Haas. All shared a passion for capturing life as they viewed it. None were limited by what the standards of the time may have dictated.
