Who would have ever thought a left-brained risk manager would enter the world of creativity and fusion. Over the years I have studied different types of art, including pottery, stained glass, etching, and now kiln fused glass, and I work hard to merge all of my knowledge into unique, one-of-a-kind pieces. I find ideas in my dreams, in mistakes and in randomly experimenting with different textures, colors and thicknesses of glass. I'm currently creating fused glass jewelry, plates and bowls. I find creating art to be relaxing and meditative.

Mixed Media
This fused glass experiment in mixed media became a work of art. I added tin, gold, copper and silver foils, enamel paints, mica and glass powders and paper to a solid sheet of opaque fusible glass. I then topped it with a sheet of clear fusible glass, and fired in a kiln for over 10 hours at heat up to 1450 degrees Fahrenheit to create this experiment in mixed media.
