Colleen Zufelt is a highly accomplished artist/educator who has recently restarted her studio career. During the 80's and 90's, she worked full-time in the studio, displaying in top galleries around the country. Her work was featured in books and magazines in the US and abroad. As she moved into her second career as an art educator, she began to explore metals incorporating her porcelain into silver and mixed metal jewelry. Recent participation in the Marshall Bridge Welding Workshop has opened a path to exploring new ideas through found metal sculpture and plasma fire drawing.
