Dawniece Trumbo

I am a creative soul living in Richmond, VA.  An artist of many mediums, but primarily, I am a painter. My style is figurative and acrylic is my medium of choice. I am largely self-taught. I paint as an emotional outlet and as a form of worship. My pieces are bold, devastating, passionate, authentic and fluid. Every piece evolves independently amidst the layers and movement of paint. Overarching themes reflect cultural pride, resilient faith, natural beauty, and a love of the feminine.
