I have always loved to create art, usually through drawing or painting - so much so that for many birthday and Christmas gifts, I received art supplies; but I've had no formal training.

This photo was taken in Romney, WV, when I was approaching the Fort Mill Ridge Civil War Encampment Site in the early morning hours. The rising sun filtering through the trees in the morning hush was absolutely awe inspiring!
