While standing at a light waiting to cross the street, I found myself hypnotized by this telephone pole. How old were these staples and scattered nails? Who put them there? And for what reason? I envisioned countless lost pet and garage sale signs, local event flyers, etc. Then I wondered how many people were inadvertently connected to this pole who will never know, or know of, each other? Thousands? More? This pole and it's stabbings were historical and I needed to record them.
