Rachel, who is also known as Gemynii (Gem), was born in Hawaii, grew up in Eastern NC, but is now a resident of Durham. She is a 28 year old spoken word poet, open mic host, and a self-taught artist who has been painting for four years. Her art reflects the energy she sees or feels in people or in herself.
