Wayne Ricardo Stewart was born in the city of Philadelphia, educated in the Philadelphia school system and attended Virginia State University in Petersburg, Va, political science major before young, gifted and black art took over his interest. He works in mixed media: stained glass, wood carving, metal welding, drawings.
