Gabriel Mejia is a local Chicago artist, educator, and youth advocate. He earned his Bachelor's in Art Education from Northern Illinois University and his Master's in Fine Art from the University of Wisconsin-Madison. He currently teaches in Chicago Public Schools and recently coached a team of spoken word artists to the 2018 Louder Than A Bomb Finals. He lives in Jefferson Park with his wife, Stephanie, and their newborn child.
