10 years ago, I spent my junior year in college studying abroad in London and it changed my life. I traveled across Europe and made some lifelong friends. London, like so many other cities around the world, had faced terrorist attacks in the past year. In light of these events, I wanted to pay tribute to the city that made me who I am today. As I'm entering the last year of my training to become an emergency physician, where I'll be dedicating my life to save the lives of others, it saddens me knowing that there are people out there who are so filled with hate that they want to take innocent lives. It really made me appreciate all the experiences that I have had and the work that I do.
