I have been using zentangle since I was eleven. This zentangle is my first animal; before I had just drawn shapes and filled them in. I chose to draw a hummingbird because of all the different textures and directions of the feathers, giving me an opportunity to experiment with many different patterns. I have always been interested in art. I'm looking forward to taking art in high school.
