Dog Portrait Memorial

I painted this dog portrait by request, using a photo provided to me. While painting, I thought I would never capture the essence of this beautiful dog, but when I completed it, the dog's owner absolutely loved the final painting. It looked exactly like her dog, who had passed away... it is the joy people feel when they see a painting that looks so much like their fur baby that makes me love this talent I had no idea could come from my hands, brushes and acrylic paints.
