I see the beauty in all things, especially while observing nature. There is an active calmness of being when outside. Even though photographs are still, there is an inherent movement realized within the gesture of fresh vitality we know as aliveness. With a background in documentary filmmaking coupled with a degree in history, each of my photographs evoke a sense of story. A tale is told in the image and the viewer brings yet another through observation and the activation of memory. Since every object is then changed by our observation, every viewer has the opportunity to see a new story.
