Lynn Jones

Self-taught artist and lover of all things creative. Expressing my thoughts and experiences through my art. I was born, raised and influenced by my hometown of Baltimore, Maryland. I currently reside in Delaware and work in human services as an Office Manager. I am inspired to be creative and that’s expressed through everything from making jewelry, sewing, cooking, quilting and painting. I overheard early in my creative journey to just turn errors into design elements. I find inspiration in my daily encounters and life experiences. I learned how to paint by taking skills from my other interests and painting what I liked or what felt good to me. It took me back to my childhood and the great days in school in art classes. I also watched several videos about various painting and drawing techniques. I feel a need to create what I find I want to see represented. I have fun when I am in my creative space. That is usually when my stomach is not in knots or I am not in a cold sweat. I am challenging myself to do things outside of my comfort zone. Sharing my creations is definitely checking that box.
