Inspired by the colors and textures of my garden, I began painting watercolors in 1994. When the magic of watercolor came alive in front of me, I immediately fell in love the with the medium. The spontaneity and fluidity of the process that only watercolor painting can produce inspired me then and still does to this day. I enjoy and embrace the rich patterns and hues of nature. I paint florals and landscapes in a bold, loose, interpretive style, using plein-air techniques and my imagination. I very seldom paint from photographs.
