Being an artist has opened a world of joyful exciting challenges for me. Growing up, I took every opportunity to draw or paint in art classes in school. As an adult, art was left behind in pursuit of a college teaching career, working with students from around the world. After retiring, my joy for making art returned and I’ve been drawing and painting ever since. Pursuing my artistic muse has been challenging, exhilarating and deeply satisfying. My hope is that when people view my work they will be filled with the same joy I feel for the artistic process.
