Marilee and Vilis Berzins
I have loved art all my life...had extraordinary teachers. I studied at Colorado College for 2 years and then earned a Bachelor's Degree from Huntingdon College in Fine Art/Education. I taught for 1 year, then married a wonderful restaurant designer named Vilis Berzins. I worked for my husband and did murals, original art and decor for his restaurants for years. We became members of the Denver Art Students League and exhibited there for years. My husband, Vilis, designs restaurants all over the United States, and paints in acrylics. He loves to do wood carving and sculptures in wood.
