Mike Krebbs
My dad was an artist, so I was surrounded by art from a very early age. His artistic legacy and my love of the natural world, especially the Desert Southwest, inspired me to paint. My work is influenced primarily by Impressionism and to a lesser extent, Realism. While my father is my greatest inspiration, I am also influenced by many of the greats of Western Art, such as Maynard Dixon, John W. Hilton, and Carl von Hassler, among others.
