My first painting was on a used grocery bag. I bought an oil paint kit from Aaron Brothers which contained six colors, black, white, a tinnie bottle of turp and two small brushes. Previously, I couldn’t draw a stick figure properly, and well, I still can’t. Fortunately, I have found that is not necessary as I’ve never seen anything perfectly straight anyway. I was hooked. I studied books, lighting, and nature. Life.
