The location in Cape Cod is New Silver Beach, North Falmouth, MA. This painting is on display @ Starbucks in Willistion, VT. from 10/09/10 to 10/25/10.

Mediterranean Seaport is my newest painting and was inspired from a photo of a mediterranean village. I used the photo as a guide and created this little fantasy seaport. The colorful buildings and reflections were the things that inspired me in the photo.

I love the quaint style and unique architecture and most of all the view of the lighthouse through the breezeway.

This is a 12 x 16 original watercolor painted on Arches 140lb. cold press paper with Holbein Artist quality paints. The painting was started the day before the plane went down. The flag was painted on that first day - the next day the flag was at half mast. I wish I had painted the flag at half mast it would have added to the significance and sentimental value of the painting. The painting was just sold to a corporate customer.

Himself's Inn is located on Surf Drive in Falmouth, MA. It is one of many quaint little cottages up on piers right on Surf Drive Beach overlooking the ocean and Martha's Vineyard. It is located on the route for the Falmouth Road Race held every year in August.

An original watercolor inspired from a beautiful photo a photographer friend gave me to paint from. She lives in Sweden and the photo was of a sunken dinghy with the sunset reflecting off of the water. This is my rendition in watercolor. Realism was not my intent, but more an inspiration of the photo.

House @ Woodneck Beach was inspired from a photo I took last summer of a beautiful house overlooking the ocean in Falmouth, MA.
I started with a very detailed sketch, then applied pen and ink to all the details and finished it with watercolor.

A friend owns this camp and they go up there on a full moon and hike to the top of Camel's Hump located in Richmond, Vermont to experience the moon rise. It's spectacular.
