Michelle LeBoeuf is originally from Massachusetts, graduated with a B.S. in Interior Design from Northern Arizona University and has been practicing as a Commercial Interior Designer in Northern Vermont ever since. Watercolor is a passion that began in college and one she just recently picked back up. Spending many summers in Cape Cod, she is particulary inspired by the sea. Michelle is the Membership Director for the Vermont Watercolor Society and also belongs to the Vermont Pastel Society. The flag was painted on that first day - the next day the flag was at half mast. I wish I had painted the flag at half mast it would have added to the significance and sentimental value of the painting. The painting was just sold to a corporate customer.

Himself's Inn is located on Surf Drive in Falmouth, MA. It is one of many quaint little cottages up on piers right on Surf Drive Beach overlooking the ocean and Martha's Vineyard. It is located on the route for the Falmouth Road Race held every year in August.

House @ Woodneck Beach was inspired from a photo I took last summer of a beautiful house overlooking the ocean in Falmouth, MA.
I started with a very detailed sketch, then applied pen and ink to all the details and finished it with watercolor.
