My style of painting varies from the whimsical childlike art to the more serious portrait. Currently, I am being drawn toward abstract art, the blending of colors and light determines the outcome. Each person viewing my paintings will have their own interpretation.
When I completed a painting for a safe house, the feelings and perceptions began to flow once I started painting. This painting was created with several layers of paint and glaze. The top layer of black paint was applied with aluminum wrap...thus the name, "It's A Wrap." It won third place in the Vanderbilt University Exhibit.
