I am an artist that strives to inspire, teach and share the love of modern quilting with anyone I come into contact with! I pride myself on detail and creating heirloom products. My newest adventure has lead me into making portrait collages based off of pictures. With this technique, I use only fabric to create one-of-a-kind artworks.

In 2005, my grandparents took me to my grandpa's hometown in Overa, Spain. I stayed there for a month and learned so much about the Spanish culture. Being half Spanish is a huge part of my life. I had bought a picture while shopping in Mojocar, Spain and have held onto it ever since. In the past year, my grandpa passed away, and as part of the grieving process, I took a portrait of his face and turned it into a fabric collage. After I made that, I knew that I wanted to take the picture that I had bought back in 2005 and create my own version, but made solely out of fabric; there is no thread, no paint or any other type of mediums. Every detail put into this artwork was placed with love, time and cherished memories I had with my grandparents all those years ago.
