Artist Statement:

My obsession for the contrast of dark, light and shadows as they represent the abstract realism of nature has taken me into a journey to create representational paintings that will express what I see in my “mind’s eye.”     

My chosen medium is oil because of the richness of the pigment and the ability of working with a material that allows me to “push” the colors into canvas or panels to get the results that I am seeking in my paintings.
