Pam Roth O'Mara
The visual arts found Pam later in life. At 60, she began taking art classes at the Curtis Center for the Arts, Greenwood Village. She’d always loved abstract art and decided to give it a try. Since then, Pam’s work has appeared in exhibits and festivals across the Denver area, including D’art 360 Gallery; Niza Knoll Gallery; Curtis Art Center; Gallery of Colorado at Arapahoe Community College; City of Centennial People’s Gallery; Depot Art Gallery; Littleton Bemis Library; Littleton Museum; Littleton Town Hall Arts Center Stanton Gallery; Castle Rock Library National Arts Program Exhibit; Castle Rock Court the Arts Festival; Centennial Chalk Art Festival; Nixon’s Coffee House; and Smokin’ Fins. Her work also appears in private collections nationally. Pam is a member of the D’art 360 Gallery in Denver’s Santa Fe Art District, Heritage Fine Arts Guild, and WCACO. See more of her work at www.pamostudio.art. About the creative process, Pam says “Time and place motivate me. Time of day, time of year, position of the sun. I’m inspired by the motion of water, trees, and grasses. I use color, texture, and movement to reveal what I’m experiencing, remembering, imagining, and feeling. Painting is performance art, a dance of joy."
