Though my day jobs are taking care of elderly at the Country Rest Home and working with ESL students at Sussex Tech, I enjoy painting as a hobby. I think my best work so far has been watercolor with a hint of black pen thrown in. I also write a little during my free time and was recently published in an online magazine http://sacredcowmagazine.com/2016/01/02/i-saw-death-today/. I sometimes dream of producing and selling art. Practically, however, I don't see a future where art is my career—I plan on becoming an ESL teacher, though I know my itch to create will never be satisfied.

Two years ago I thought often about humility and the obscurity of my life. I found a beautiful photograph on Deviant Art that captured my joy at being just an ordinary, humble girl. I liked it so much that I tried to capture her idea with watercolor and pen, my favorite medium. Here is the original photograph, by Marie Elliot.http://marielliott.deviantart.com/art/humble-gift-80039193
