I choose to work with glass and lead because these are materials I have worked with for thirty years and they are materials I know and understand. I conceptualize my stained glass as architectural glass, meaning its placement at the plane that divides inside from outside is essential. Also essential is the action of the changing light source, usually the sun, animating the transparent or translucent colors and textures.
