Rick Carliss, Ph.D. is a professor of Molecular Biology. He has participated annually in the Healing Arts Program through Carilion. His exhibit history includes shows in AL, NY, NJ, PA and currently Roanoke, VA. Venues include galleries, art shows and local stores as well as Animal Causes such as the SPCA. Ricks works with oil, acrylic, and occasionally cold wax and mixed media. He also designs CD covers, music posters and designed a t-shirt and logo for Women in Science. Mediums include canvas, wood and CD inserts.
