An Evening at Saint Charles

Vera Nazarian’s quote completely portrays my feeling of Sunset. On an evening, I was sitting on my deck and marveling at beautiful red and orange colors of a sunset. The eye-catching sunset inspired me to capture that movement in my painting.  This painting has a special place in my heart, as it is my first attempt of incorporating tissue paper with pastel. The textured layout provides depth in the sky. I hope, my “Evening in Saint Charles” can just as easily be your own “Evening in Peoria” or another’s “Evening in Provo.”
