A native of Southeast Georgia, this artist considers herself to be a true Southern Bell. In the small town of Uvalda, She enjoyed a carefree childhood and was raised by a community of strong, God-fearing people, all of whom she is proud to call her family. This family instilled in her the importance of a good education, an education that many of them had been denied. Determined to honor the sacrifice of her elders, she sought out an occupation worthy of their sacrifice, teaching. Shimeka Davis is an Educator, Biologist, Artist and Child of God.
