My camera is my paintbrush, enabling me to use photography as a means of self-expression – I make pictures for myself, to better understand my reality, and to express my interpretation of the world around me. Although I enjoy numerous photography techniques and subject matter, photographing birds holds a special place in my heart. I strive to show the viewer a different side of birds, which they may not otherwise experience or have the opportunity to observe. I have achieved my goal if my work makes the viewer smile, or evokes curiosity with a positive response.
