Mary Scott Soo, MD, a radiologist at Duke University Medical Center and interfaith minister, has enjoyed painting since her childhood, but her passion for art really grew in the early 2000's as she began portrait painting using oils and acrylics. Inspired then by her brother and master artist Dee Campbell, and her teacher and friend Elizabeth Andersen May, she has displayed paintings in local charity art and annual Duke Employee art shows. She currently enjoys defining precious moments with her art, working to combine freedom of expression with realism in portraiture.
