Born in Jackson, MS., Nathan has a Bachelor of the Arts in Art from Belhaven College, also in Jackson. His emphasis of study was in graphic design, yet his interests also include printmaking and illustration. Nathan demonstrates extreme detail and photo-realism in his work. Much of his work involves landscapes of the city of Jackson and natural scenery found in Mississippi. Artist Statement: "I prefer representational art, subject matter that can symbolize or express a feeling or a time. I use realistic imagery within my work to give an honest account of the world as I see it.
