"Geode" 16x20
"Geode" 16x20
Painting
My favorite painting to date. This was a labor of love and took about 10 hours to finish. This purple geode has several great techniques. The base was painted and then a thick cover layer was added to each section before an alcohol drop technique was used to give the blotch affect. To resemble crystals, I used clear and light violet colored glass beads that were glued on. this painting has 4 cotes of a clear varnish spray.

"Going Home" 16x20
Painting
This painting was inspired by my late parents. My sisters and I use a cardinal and a blue jay to represent and honor them. The two birds are “Going Home” to rest in their bird houses. This painting is very close to my heart and I hope you love it as much as I do.

"Rhythm" 12x16
Painting
A wash and pour technique was used on this piece. The blending of the colors occurs naturally once one color paint touches another. This piece was inspired by my love of music. The heart beat design is most noticeable. The other element is what (in my mind) it would look like if you poured paint on a stereo speaker with the bass all the way up. Finished with a glossy clear coat.

Painting
A wash and pour technique was used on this piece. The blending of the colors occurs naturally once one color paint touches another. The slight bubbles on this piece are due to the saturation of the canvas and will be unique to each piece. Finished with a glossy clear coat.

Painting
The bright pinks of the gerber daisy petals and green of the background will make any room pop with fresh color. I paid special attention to detail on this piece, making sure to add highlights and blending. The center of the flower is done with thick paint to add detail.
