Ulysses O. Hollowell, Jr., is a 59 year old African-American art student at Wayne State University, majoring in Ceramics and Sculpture and expects to complete the BFA program in December of 2012. He is an abstract expressionist artist whose works are mixed-media. His favorite materials to work with are: Ceramics, Metals, Wood, Stone and Glass. He is married to Karen A. Watkins-Hollowell, the father of Melika, Brian, Ulysse III and Alescia.
