I have been a clinic nurse in the Avera System for six years. I have always had an interest in art. In high school I was active in art shows and won an art scholarship to the University of Missouri. I had to chose between nursing and art. Nursing won out. However, in the last 8 years I have decided I can easily do both. I have (hopefully) enhanced my skills by taking private lessons from a nationally known professional artist.
