The Conflict Series #2

This sculpture was a part of a series where I was investigating the human form in the media of clay. All of the poses were in a sitting position. This "Kneeiling Man" was the second.  "During the period that I was building these sculptures I needed to keep my mind and hands busy. I was grieving the passing of my dear mother.  Each of the poses in this series unintentionally reflected the inner "Conflict" that I was struggling with during the time.  Media: Bmix clay, white crackle glaze, Raku fired.
