Complete this entry form to participate in the 25th Annual Exhibit of The National Arts Program for Fulton County employees, retirees and their immediate family members. There is no fee to enter the program.

Eligibility

  • Participants must be an employee, retiree or an immediate family member of an employee or retiree of Fulton County.
  • Only two entries per artist will be admitted.
  • All entries submitted must be the original work of the applicant completed within the last three years.
  • The National Arts Program and the Fulton County Department of Arts and Culture reserve the right to disqualify entries they consider to be unacceptable or inappropriate for this public exhibit.

Entries
  • Entrants may submit only entries which fit into the listed medium categories.
  • All artwork will need an NAP identification label placed on the back (provided at drop off).
  • All 2-dimensional entries should be matted, framed and/or ready to hang with wire securely on the back.
  • All work must measure no more than 48” in any direction or weigh more than 50lbs unless otherwise stipulated.
  • Artwork that does not meet size limitations or specifications will be disqualified before judging.

Rules of Exhibit
  • Deadline This Registration Form must be received no later than Friday, August 23, 2024.
  • Delivering Entries All entries must be delivered to the Peachtree Gallery located on the 2nd floor of the Government Building, 141 Pryor Street SW, Atlanta, GA 30303 from either Tuesday, August 27 through Thursday, August 29 between 10am - 3pm each day or from Tuesday, September 3 through Wednesday, September 4  between 10am - 3pm both days.
  • Reception & Awards A reception and presentation of awards will be held at the Government Center Atrium on Tuesday, September 10, 2024 beginning at 6pm.
    • Prizes will be awarded by classification:
      • Adult (Amateur, Intermediate and Professional): 3 - First Place Awards of $350; 3 - Second Place Awards of $250; and 3 - Third Place Awards of $150
      • Youth / Teen : 2 - First Place Awards of $150; 2- Second Place Awards of $100; and 2 - Third Place Awards of $50
      • A Best of Show Award of $400 
      • An Art Education Award of $200
    • Honorable Mention Ribbons will be awarded at the discretion of the judges.
    • Awards  are limited to one cash award per artist per classification.
  • Public Exhibit The exhibit will be free and open to the public from September 10 - October 25, 2024, Monday through Friday, during normal business hours.
  • Retrieving Entries Each artist is responsible for retrieving their artwork from the Peachtree Gallery (2nd Floor of Government Building) from October 28 through October 30, 2024 between the hours of 9:00am - 4:00pm each day.  No work is to be removed prior to the end of the exhibition. Neither Fulton County nor the National Arts Program will be responsible for unclaimed works.
  • Liability Every attempt will be made to preserve, secure and protect each entry submitted; but neither the National Arts Program nor Fulton County can be held responsible for damages, loss of art entries, or changes/cancellation of this exhibit due to low participation or unforeseen circumstances.  The placing of art in the exhibition constitutes an agreement on the part of the entrant with conditions herein set forth.  The National Arts Program and Fulton County reserve the right to publish for publicity purposes reproductions of the entries.  The National Arts Program in Fulton County, GA is a public exhibit and photographing/filming of the exhibit is encouraged.
