Complete this entry form to participate in the 14th Annual Exhibit of The National Arts Program for Minneapolis-Saint Paul International Airport employees and their family members. There is no fee to enter the program.

    Your registration is not complete until you have clicked the ‘submit registration’ button, received an automated confirmation email.

    Eligibility

    • Participants must be an employee, retiree, volunteer or an immediate family member of an employee, retiree, or volunteer of MSP.

    • Only 2 entries per artist will be admitted.

    • All entries submitted must be the original work of the applicant completed within the last three years and not previously submitted.

    • The National Arts Program and Minneapolis-Saint Paul International Airport reserve the right to disqualify entries they consider to be unacceptable or inappropriate for a public exhibit. If your submission is not accepted you will be given the opportunity to select a different piece to enter, should you choose to.

    Entries
    • Entrants may submit only two entries that fit into the listed medium categories.
    • All artwork will need an NAP identification label placed on the back (provided at drop off).
    • All 2-dimensional entries should be matted, framed and/or ready to hang with wire securely on the back and measure no more than 48” in any direction and weigh no more than 40 lbs.
    • All hanging 3-dimensional entries must measure no more than 36” wide by 36” high by 18” deep, and weigh no more than 40 lbs.
    • All free-standing 3-dimensional entries must measure no more than 48” wide by 48” high by 30” deep, and weigh no more than 100 lbs.
    • Artwork that does not meet size limitations or specifications will be disqualified before judging.

    Rules of Exhibit
    • Deadline This Registration Form must be received no later than Friday, October 25, 2024.
    • Delivering Entries All entries must be delivered to MSP Terminal 1, East Curbside, Door 7 from October 29 - October 30, 2024 between 9am - 5pm each day.
    • Reception & Awards A reception and presentation of awards will be held on Tuesday, December 10, 2024 from 6pm-8pm in the MSP Terminal 1, Concourse C Art Gallery.
      • Prizes will be awarded by classification:
        • Adult (Amateur, Intermediate and Professional): 3 - First Place Awards of $350; 3 - Second Place Awards of $250; and 3 - Third Place Awards of $150
        • Best of Show Award of $400 
        • Youth / Teen : 2 - First Place Awards of $150; 2- Second Place Awards of $100; and 2 - Third Place Awards of $50
        • Art Education Award of $200
      • Additional awards including Honorable Mentions will be awarded at the discretion of the judges.
      • Awards are limited to one cash award per artist per classification.
    • Public Exhibit The exhibit is located in the Concourse C Art Gallery and is free and open to the public from December 10, 2024 through May 30, 2025.
    • Retrieving Entries All artists are responsible for retrieving their artwork from MSP Terminal 1, East Curbside, Door 7 on June 3-4, 2025 between 9am - 5pm. No work is to be removed prior to the end of the exhibition. Neither the Minneapolis Saint-Paul International Airport nor the National Arts Program will be responsible for unclaimed works.

    • Liability Every attempt will be made to preserve, secure and protect each entry submitted; but neither the National Arts Program nor Minneapolis-Saint Paul International Airport can be held responsible for damages, loss of art entries, changes/cancellation of this exhibit due to low participation or any unforeseen circumstances. The National Arts Program and Minneapolis-Saint Paul International Airport reserve the right to disqualify entries they consider to be unacceptable or inappropriate for a public exhibit. The placing of art in the exhibition constitutes an agreement on the part of the entrant with conditions herein set forth. The National Arts Program and Minneapolis-Saint Paul International Airport reserve the right to publish for publicity purposes reproductions of the entries. The National Arts Program at the Minneapolis Saint-Paul International Airport is a public exhibit and photographing/filming of the exhibit is encouraged.
