Complete this entry form to participate in the 2nd Annual Exhibit of The National Arts Program for Pasco County employees, volunteers and their family members. There is no fee to enter the program.

Your registration is not complete until you have clicked the ‘submit registration’ button and receive an automated confirmation email.

Eligibility

  • Participants must be an employee, or an immediate family member of an employee of Pasco County, Florida or a volunteer.
  • Only 2 entries per artist will be admitted. Only the first 105 artists to register will be accepted due to space limitations.
  • All entries submitted must be the original work of the applicant completed within the last three years and not previously submitted.
  • The National Arts Program and Pasco County reserve the right to disqualify entries they consider to be unacceptable or inappropriate for a public exhibit.

  • Entrants may submit only two entries that fit into the listed medium categories.
  • All artwork will need an NAP identification label placed on the back (provided at drop off). 
  • All 2-dimensional entries should be matted, framed and/or ready to hang with wire securely across the back. 
  • All 2-dimensional work must measure no more than 36” in any direction or weigh more than 50 pounds.
  • All 3-dimensional work must measure no more than 12" in any direction.
  • Artwork that does not meet size limitations or specifications will be disqualified before judging.

Rules of Exhibit
  • Deadline This Registration Form must be received no later than August 2, 2024 to participate in this exhibit. Only the first 105 artists to register will be accepted due to space limitations.
  • Delivering Entries  All entries must be delivered from August 19th through August 22nd between the hours of 8:00am - 5:00pm or on August 23rd from 8:00am - 12:00noon at West Pasco Government Center, 8731 Citizens Drive, New Port Richey, FL 34654 - Basement Floor.
  • Reception & Awards A reception and presentation of awards will be held at Starkey Ranch Theatre Library Cultural Center, 12118 Lake Blanche Drive, Odessa, FL 33556 on October 3, 2024 from 6:00pm - 7:00pm. 
    • Prizes will be awarded by classification:
      • Adult (Amateur, Intermediate and Professional): 3 - First Place Awards of $350; 3 - Second Place Awards of $250; and 3 - Third Place Awards of $150
      • A Best of Show Award of $400 
      • Youth / Teen : 2 - First Place Awards of $150; 2- Second Place Awards of $100; and 2 - Third Place Awards of $50
      • An Art Education Award of $200
    • Additional awards including Honorable Mentions will be awarded at the discretion of the judges.
    • Awards are limited to one cash award per artist per classification.
  • Public Exhibit The exhibit is free and will be open to the public from September 3 - October 11, 2024.

  • Retrieving Entries Each artist is responsible for retrieving their artwork from West Pasco Government Center, 8731 Citizens Drive, New Port Richey, FL 34654 from October 14 - 16, 2024 between 8:00am - 5:00pm.  No work is to be removed prior to the end of the exhibition. Neither Pasco County nor the National Arts Program will be responsible for unclaimed works.

  • Liability Every attempt will be made to preserve, secure and protect each entry submitted; but neither the National Arts Program nor Pasco County can be held responsible for damages, loss of art entries, or changes/cancellation of this exhibit due to low participation or unforeseen circumstances.  The placing of art in the exhibition constitutes an agreement on the part of the entrant with conditions herein set forth.  The National Arts Program and Pasco County reserve the right to publish for publicity purposes reproductions of the entries.  The National Arts Program for Pasco County is a public exhibit and photographing/filming of the exhibit is encouraged.
