Orlando International Airport Shares the Art

Orlando International Airport, FL held their Eighth Annual National Arts Program® Exhibition for employees and their family members from August 22nd - October 4th. Their NAP show is entitled ‘Share the Art’ and their participants certainly did share their artistic talents in a big way. Coordinator Vera Walker commented that, "...it was a huge success. This year’s show is considered one of our best." With participation numbers up 84%, this was a record breaking year. The exhibition included more than one hundred artists showcasing 172 pieces in the beautiful ARTport Gallery for all to enjoy.

This year, Vera recruited NAP Coordinator Paul Wenzel from our Orlando venue to be one of the guest judges. Paul is the Public Art Coordinator for the City of Orlando making him a wonderful addition to the judge’s panel.

Vera also thanked the NAP for all it does in, "providing guidance, assistance and most importantly the funding for this art show". However, without the hard work of coordinators like Vera and others across the country, the NAP would not be able to accomplish our goal of bringing forward the artistic talents of employees and their family members.
