Chez Jean Pierre No. 2 is a watercolor in the artist's Palm Beach Memories Series. The focus of the piece is the emotion evoked on remembering a place as it used to exist. This restaurant was closed in response to the pandemic after two decades as a family run restaurant named for it chef-owner. Besides poignant memories, the artist is also portraying the vibrancy of the tropical palette as well as the evocative trade wind energy found in the Palm Beach of yesteryear. This series was started in 2010 and continues to evolve.
