I studied art from the cultures encountered traveling around the world. My favorite subject is the individuals I was lucky enough to meet. Due to the encounters I've had with so many different philosophies and cultures, the relationship between art and the human condition became clear. From the line and pattern of Japanese wood cuts to the story telling murals of Mexico I recognized art’s ability to touch mankind regardless of class or race. My goal is to combine the decorative with a perspective of the human condition.
